Kai is a producer, songwriter, engineer, guitarist and photographer.

His solo project MAYIM is where his heart is at. Every song is just raw and pure emotions that come to the surface when freewriting or writing over an instrumental. Musically nobody else is allowed to touch it, it’s all about him and what he feels is right. This is so the music stays true to himself and doesn’t become another “project”, it’s truly the music he wants to make.

He loves the engineering part of music as well. When working for others, whether as a producer or engineer, he likes to really get into the details, to get it sounding just right. In the producer/engineering roll he is real easy to work with and he’ll bring a good vibe, but will do what’s needed to reach the full potential of a song or musician. As a mixing engineer he always strives to take the song to the next level. He’ll make room for every instrument so you’ll hear every single detail the musicians and producer have put into the song.

As a photographer Kai is also busy in the music scene. Shooting concerts, press shots, behind the scenes in the studio. But he also loves to go outdoors and shoot landscapes or just whatever he finds interesting.
